Biography

David Pred is the co-founder and executive director of Inclusive Development International. A global advocate for land, housing and natural resource rights, David has spent the last fifteen years working to support communities and social movements around the world to hold governments, corporations and financial institutions accountable for land-grabs, forced displacement and related human rights violations. He has supported communities in Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Samoa, South Sudan, Kenya, Guinea and the Democratic Republic of Congo in cases before a range of international accountability mechanisms and has advocated for human rights reforms at international financial institutions and in global trade regimes. David holds a Masters in the theory and practice of human rights from the University of Essex.
