Project Details

What We Need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional Details

We just created a separate position for Marketing & communications but don't have the capacity to both create posts & prepare this new role with a good foundation to jump off from. We have Asana, Sprout Social, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. We have put Twitter on the backburner but are in need of ongoing social media posts on the other plateforms.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have testimonials, photos & a national brand guide, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the scheduling software, canva pro, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to serve more families!

Communicating our needs & accomplishments to our donors/ volunteers/ & clients is a huge part of our push to increase our name recognition so we can better connect with the community & share what we do as well as increase our funding so we can help more families in a sector that is desperately in need of more funds to assist the growing issue of family homelessness.

Project Plan

Prep: Audit & Planning
  • Volunteer Manager shares social media credentials and existing marketing materials with Professional
  • (If applicable) Professional audits existing social media account to determine which content types are performing best
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency
Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates
Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates
(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software

Our Mission

Our mission is to form relationships with families at risk of or experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, meals, and a spectrum of supportive services as they obtain permanent stability.

What We Do

We have several programs aimed at keeping & getting families into stable housing. Our Rapid Resolution program focuses on diverting families from homelessness through relocation, transportation or food cards, paying bills & other financial assistance. Every month we give out funds for rental assistance to keep families housed. Our Case Management, (Bridge) transitional housing, and Shelter program all focus on getting families into more stable housing through connection to resources, housing first initiatives, and helping families through a holistic approach. Our small team has high success rates because of this approach.
