Flexible Tech Support
Flexible Tech Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing technological advisory for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: tools set up and implementation, systems auditing, process updates
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
My organization has an established M&E framework. To make it easier for users to enter data we have started using google forms that each link to a google spreadsheet. I customized the sheets script so that the spreadsheets generate a url that can be reused so each user can edit the forms as needed, but there are other customizations we would like to do. I need help from someone who knows a lot about google forms and can write (or find) the necessary script.
What we have in place
- We currently have established M&E tools, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have someone on staff ready to work with you, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,718 , allowing us to put those resources to use to support our programs
Streamlining our M&E data capture will improve accuracy and timeliness reporting and help us better measure our impact.
Project plan
Our mission
Inclusive Development International works to advance social, economic and environmental justice by supporting communities around the world to defend their land, environment and human rights in the face of harmful investment projects. Through research, casework and policy advocacy, we hold corporations, financial institutions and development agencies accountable to their human rights and environmental responsibilities and work to promote a more just and equitable international economic system.
What we do
The cornerstone of our approach is unravelling and exposing the financial and supply chain actors behind harmful investment projects. Upon request from community advocates, our researchers use the financial sector's own technology and tools to follow the money, identify pressure points for advocacy, and place this information in the hands of those whose lives depend on it.
We then work with communities over the long haul to prevent harms and secure justice by leveraging pressure points through sustained, multi-pronged, and evidence-based advocacy strategies. In doing so, we are increasing the financial and reputational costs for investors that enable and profit from human rights abuses and environmental destruction, creating a powerful deterrent for irresponsible investment.
At the same time, we campaign at the policy level to change the way development institutions, the financial sector, and multinational corporations do business.
